Since starting Isagenix, I have never been better. I have a
great business that is growing steadily and a new lease on life. At 58 years
old, I have recaptured my youth! 18 years ago, I was at the highest competitive
level of powerlifting. I won the American Deadlift National Championships in
1992 with a National record lift of 635 pounds. I weighed a pretty solid 220
pounds of muscle that I actually spent 12 years putting on! I retired from
competitive lifting and my weight fell to 196 pounds. But, I slowly began to
trade muscle for fat. I gained a large spare tire around a waist that formally
was a 6 pack! I spent the last 8 years putting on & taking off about 10
pounds regularly. I found myself working very hard, to avoid the health
challenges that affect 1 in 3 Afro Americans. With a strong family history, I
thought I had things covered by riding my bike 130 miles weekly and eating what
I considered to be a healthy diet. But I was not succeeding with exercise alone.
My girlfriend and life partner, Lori Foster, began losing weight with Isagenix,
and encouraged me to give it a try. I began and have not looked back. Having
lost 31 pounds, I am a lean 165 pounds with 12% body fat. My energy levels are
high, throughout the day. I am the same weight and size I was when I was 27. My
doctor tells me she has not seen me healthier. I cannot remember feeling and
looking this good. I am riding without suffering physical discomfort as a
result. And, instead of riding at the back of a very elite group of cyclist, and
getting dropped on every tough part of the ride, I am now a group leader,
setting the pace especially up difficult hills. I wake up without the achy
joints that I used to blame on “getting old”. And if I am allowed to talk about
libido, let me just say a young man has nothing on me!
